OPS Design presents Moon River Chinese, a stunning villa that embodies elegance and natural beauty. Inspired by the oriental philosophy of learning from nature and returning to the original, this design seamlessly integrates the pure and delicate artistic vocabulary of Chinese culture. The villa incorporates elements such as water, moon, branches, and flowers, creating a harmonious and serene living space.

The strength of Moon River Chinese lies in its ability to strip away excessive colors and embrace simplicity. The design tells stories of home through its unpretentious form, allowing light and shadow to blur the boundaries within the space. Mountain rocks, water patterns, and tree shadows overlap, creating a dynamic tranquility that washes away the fatigue and stress of urban life. Every detail is carefully considered, awakening a sense of love and appreciation.

Black and white serve as the main color tones, representing the balanced artistic concept emphasized by Oriental aesthetics. The elegant green and ink images reflect throughout the space, while the combination of cold and warm materials such as wood and stone creates a poetic atmosphere. The design of Moon River Chinese is a testament to the beauty and harmony found in nature.

Spanning an area of 125 square meters, the villa features a connected living room and dining room that extend both functionally and visually. This seamless integration allows emotions and scenery to blend and intersect, creating a more open and expansive mindset.

The Moon River Chinese project was realized by OPS Design, with Suting Lin and Jiamin Xu leading the design team. Architect Huajin Ye also contributed to the project. The design process involved extensive research, drawing inspiration from Chinese-style villas and the philosophy of learning from nature. The team delved into life and design books, conducted on-site visits, and gathered data to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the project's objectives.

The Moon River Chinese villa was completed in June 2020 in Shaoguan, Guangdong and was exhibited in Moon River Mountain. The design has been recognized for its excellence, receiving the Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2021. This prestigious award is given to designs that demonstrate innovation, practicality, and adherence to professional and industrial requirements. Moon River Chinese stands out for its integration of industry best practices, competent technical characteristics, and contribution to a better world.
